Buy Now, Pay in Installments: eDilo Launches a New Payment Method for Businesses at Epicenter
Business customers can now purchase products online at Epicenter and, right when placing their order, choose to pay in installments through the eDilo online service, powered by the Activitis* fintech infrastructure.
This option is available to users who have “Business” mode enabled on the epicentrk.ua website.
eDilo allows for installment payments on invoices that Epicenter issues to its B2B customers. This enables businesses to make purchases when they’re actually needed for operations, rather than having to wait until the full amount is available in their account.
Why Is This Important?
Businesses often postpone purchases not because they aren’t necessary, but because it’s inconvenient to pay the full amount at once. As a result, companies delay decisions, waste time, and, in some cases, slow down their own processes.
eDilo’s partnership with Epicenter changes this approach. If you need products right now, you can purchase them immediately, start using them in your business, and pay for them gradually on a schedule that works for you. This not only saves time but also allows you to avoid tying up the entire amount at once.
This is especially important in situations where a need has arisen suddenly or the purchase wasn’t included in this month’s budget.
Як це працює
First, the customer must enable “Business” mode on the epicentk.ua website and add an organization.
The Epicenter Group of Companies has announced the launch of “Epicenter Business”—a new digital platform for buyers — legal entities and entrepreneurs — that combines procurement, financing, document management, and business procurement management tools in a single environment.
The new service is part of the company’s strategy to develop its B2B business and is in line with the global trend toward the digitization of corporate procurement.
The customer selects products on the epicentrk.ua website, proceeds to the shopping cart, and selects eDilo as the payment method during checkout.
After placing an order, the customer is directed to their eDilo account. For Epicenter customers, an initial credit limit is set automatically. To use it, the customer completes a brief verification process, activates the credit limit, and confirms the payment authorization. Going forward, they can use this limit for future payments within the available amount.
For repeat purchases, the process is shorter for the customer: without having to verify their identity again, the customer can pay for multiple orders using their existing credit limit.
What You Need to Know
Financing through eDilo is available for terms of up to 24 months. The maximum limit is 5 million UAH.
The entire process is digital: from placing an order to signing documents with an electronic digital signature. No collateral, no guarantor, and no currency risks.
Who is this solution for?
This solution will be most useful to micro, small, and medium-sized businesses, for which having a simple financial tool is important. At the same time, eDilo can also be useful to larger companies if they want to plan their expenses more flexibly several months in advance.
Payment in installments is relevant in various sectors: logistics, healthcare, HoReCa, retail, service industries, manufacturing, repairs, and workspace design. What matters is not so much the cost of the goods as the ability to avoid spending the entire amount at once and instead spread out the payments over time.
What Does This Mean for Epicenter and the Market?
For Epicenter, this strengthens its B2B offering: the epicentrk.ua online store is becoming more convenient and accessible for business customers, as it not only provides access to products but also offers a flexible payment method through eDilo.
This can affect conversion rates, average order value, and repeat purchase frequency.
For the market, this is a prime example of how embedded finance is becoming an integral part of the purchasing process. This is exactly how B2B commerce is becoming simpler, faster, and more attuned to the real needs of businesses.
“Epicenter has taken an important step toward its customers and toward a more customer-centric business model. When eDilo appears right at the moment of purchase, everyone wins: the customer gets the opportunity to buy now and pay in installments from future earnings, the Epicenter Business digital platform strengthens its offering, and we, as a financial partner, integrate the solution exactly where it’s truly needed. It is precisely these win-win solutions that shape a new quality of interaction in the market—this is the growth model ( growth model) for all participants,” explains Pavlo Matiyash, CEO of Activitis.
“In fact, we’ve applied the experience from the B2C segment—where financing is part of the checkout process—to the segment of legal entities and entrepreneurs. This allows businesses to get decisions ‘right here, right now’—without unnecessary approvals or separate paperwork processes. In this way, we’ve combined purchasing and financing into a single digital workflow, which significantly speeds up the process for our customers. “This case study is the first of its kind among major omnichannel e-commerce retailers in Ukraine, and we are certainly proud of it,” comments Yuriy Kudlik, Director of the Online Sales and Customer Service Department at Epicenter K LLC.
